Re: Reptile's Doubles Master I Elimination (Round 2)
please hold on my next games. I'm in a heavily affected hurricane area and very inconsistent cell service, let alone data. No power or internet right now.

Re: Reptile's Doubles Master I Elimination (Round 2)
Ok looks like everyone is ready to go into the next round. Games sent.
Final Elimination from Round 2 losers bracket:
Seed 7 - swt pimp / Adolfo18
Notes:
Two teams have a bye in the losers bracket as they await their next opponent:
3.Swimmerdude99 / Mudfighter
5.Tviorr / j1mathman
Whoever wins the semifinals Winner bracket match will have to do the same next week.
Good luck to the final 8 teams remaining. If you are still alive in the tournament, then you have already finished in the top half

Re: Reptile's Doubles Master I Elimination (Round 4 - Round
Sending the next round of games out right now.
Most recently eliminated:
Seed 4 - Pixar and Davekettering (Final record = 9-6)
Seed 10 - Reptile and Master Chief (Final record = 8-4)
Notes:
Final from the heavy weight battle Bariclaw and Dufus are able to dethrone LFAW and KingM who eagerly await their next opponent in the losers bracket but will use the rest to game plan for a potential rematch.
We are down to the final 5 teams, a lot of big hitters left. The nitty gritty is where it gets dirty, keep clear of the cheap shots!

Re: Reptile's Doubles Master I Elimination (3 Teams remain)
Taking home the bronze medal is:
Swimmerdude99 and mudfighter who finish 3rd in the tournament after being defeated by LFAW and KingM
Well done!
Moving to the championship round.
Bariclaw and Dufus = 0 match losses, 8-4 overall record
vs
LFAW and KingM = 1 match loss, 12-3 overall record
LFAW and KingM had a strong start to the tournament with a starting record of 8-1 until they ran into #2 seeded Bariclaw and Dufus who were 6-3 at the time. Bariclaw/Dufus defeated LFAW/KingM and sent them to the losers bracket hoping to not meet them again. However, LFAW/KingM made short work of the losers bracket and are back up to the winners bracket for their revenge.
If team bariclaw/dufus win the finals best of 3, they are the tourney champions. If they lose it will go to an overtime match with the same settings to determine the winner.
Since team bariclaw/dufus have zero match losses, in order for team LFAW/KingM to win the tourney they would have to win two best of 3's in a row to win the championship due to the double elimination rules.
This is where the tournament was pointing all along. This will be a fun one to watch!
Good luck to both teams and thanks for playing!

Re: Reptile's Doubles Master I Elimination (Final Round)
We're going to a final-final
To Reptile; thanks for a fun tournament buddy. Regardless of how it ends just wanted to acknowledge how well it's been run and how much enjoyment King and I have had playing in it

Re: Reptile's Doubles Master I Elimination (Final Round)
Looks like you guys locked up the championship. I think next time I will do more of a matchups bracket prior to the tournament (maybe divisions?) if there is enough people that sign up. Seemed like the winners bracket had a little too much waiting time.
I will close the thread and announce once the final game finishes so the image can be full - Well done, very dominant with the one blemish led to a great finals matchup

Re: Reptile's Doubles Master I Elimination (Final Round)
Reptile, I think we’ve got to play them once again? Since they’ve been us in a best of three as have we?
