The Basics

this will be a couple of small round robins, culminating into a headsup matchup to determine the winner.

you'll be thrown into 2 groups based off your team cc score. the score will be posted at the time i put the team in the spoiler tab. i'll put the 8 teams in numerical order based off of team score, and the two groups will be broken up into an odd group, and an even group.

if you don't want me to pick your team name, then you need to come up with one yourself.

i'm not going to force teams. but feel free to use the thread to search for a teammate. i'll even post your name in the top of this post to help.

when i get 8 full teams signed up, that's it. if a team comes in while a single is looking for a partner, i'm sorry, but i have to take the full team first. but shouldn't be a problem, tournaments take weeks to fill these days.

Specifics

there will be 2 groups of 4 teams,

you'll play each team in your own group 3 games,
and 3 of the 4 opposing group teams 1 game,

that's 12 games sent in 4 games a week for 3 weeks.

the 3 group games will be on maps USA, Mexico, Canada.
the 1 cross group game will be on North America Map.

best record for each group will play a headsup matchup of 7 games. the tiebreak game will be North America map, with 2 of each on USA, Mexico, Canada. i'll send 4 one week, and then 3 a week later.

of course, any ties will be determined by headsup matchup. in case of a 3 way tie (which is most likely impossible) i'll tabulate wins from all the teams you beat, if there is still a tie, we'll do a classic default settings. with all the teams involved. i highly doubt this will even be a possible scenario but whatever.

I would not bother to wait until its under 50%, thats just 3 games more, and I think like my team will be close to done with 2-3 alone in the next 24h, but anything works for me.

i updated the scores, it's not quite a lock yet, but The Widowmakers seem to be a shoe in for The Odds. And unless The gladiators can pull off a miracle, The Widowmakers will outlast with the tiebreak win over Two lips.

My partner detlef is going on a trip soon, and I would rather have him playing the final with me, then me playing "poly 2" for half of the final.

yes, it's possible, but if your opponent declines, i would have to favor their position since it's in the rules already. or another option is wait for the trip to end. how long will he be away?

I will be gone from October 21 to November 3rd. Provided the other team is willing to push it off until November 4th, I would very much appreciate it.
