Regarding Day 5 - if we lynch Mafia Max today townies will be left with one of the following;
a. 2T, 1M, 1SK = Townies should vote NO LYNCH
b. 1T , 1M, 1SK = Townie should vote NO LYNCH
or
c. 2T , 1M or 2T, 1SK
Townies should take a LOT OF TIME/AS MUCH AS IT TAKES discussing voting before ACTUALLY VOTING but ultimately vote and hope the 2 TOWN VOTE TOGETHER to win.
The 1M or 1SK will play you like mad in this c. rather tantalising scenario.

I'll clearly state my intentions. In general, I want to be led slightly by more experienced folk, without falling into the trap of being led by a mobster.

There are currently only 2 scenarios that I could be persuaded
to follow:
1. All vote No Lynch - In an attempt to swing the odds in favour of town
2. Majority Vote Max - For all the reasons you guys have stated but also because as I've mentioned previously, there is a lack of clarity behind Max's voting.

Of course, if someone makes a massive cock up and confesses to all, I reserve the right to change my mind

Well I don't know for a fact, but the way DDS left, when it happened Charle said DDS had been told not to quit, DDS left anyway, so Charle found a replacement in king. Other player that came in as a sub was EW (mofo then voted himself out). EW was Town Tracker. That makes me think that both DDS/king and EW's roles were essential to the game mechanics, as they were both PRs. I don't think there is any Town PR left so, yeah, king = scum or SK.

From this weak attempt to save his own skin (after posting here for the first time in over 2 weeks), and then I find so so funny that Chana chimes in with interesting, clever thinking, when its just what Geppetto's said from the getgo after I took over.

So I have to thank you guys for making this, at least for me, so much easier.
I'm now very sure that Max and Chana is the 2 remaining mafia, and then its Dev or devon who is SK, I want to put my money on devon, but not sure, but sure about the Geppetto disciples.

I can confirm that the sub replacements had nothing to do with the structure of the game. When Rogue did not pitch, EW was first in the row as a Sub and that positions was filled. King joined but then later cancelled because of his illness and was not sure if he would be active. Later he followed all the chat and asked to please let him know when a spot opens up, which happened when DDS gave up his seat. I never had to go out and specifically look for replacements to keep the game running.

I think I know who mafia and sk are and I came to that conclusion before max re-emerged.

What id like to see is a day 5 consisting of 2T and 1 either M or SK and have the 2T face the challenge.

If there are three or four players left and votes are not being cast (either through deliberate no-lynch or refusal), then the game would not stall indefinitely. At some point I would move the phase forward — typically that means advancing to night with a no-lynch if no majority is reached by the deadline.

At night, the factions with killing abilities would act as normal. The outcome of that night phase would resolve the game naturally.

If at any point the living factions reach a position where one side is guaranteed to win (for example, parity, or no remaining threats), I would call the game immediately.”

At the time I saw Maxs reply about replacement I thought there is some previously unseen angle about subs as he said.
I thought EW and you was taken as subs because you twos roles are essential for game progress and I was in kind of idea that it was not so neccessary to find a replacement player if the dropped out players are vanila townie & I thought that PR angle shown by Max is brilliant thinking.

But later when I thinking more I felt even if dropped out players are vanila townies still it is necessary as equal to PR holders to keep numbers balanced between town and scums.
