Time extension (manual or automatic)

I’m thinking the site would be a bit better if each player were to have a time bank they could use for various games.

The reason is pretty self-explanatory, nobody wants to lose a game because they missed a turn, and this is probably even more true overall of team games than of 1v1s. While people should be consistently diligent the reality is that many aren’t, with most players here having imperfect attendance.

My suggestion then is simply this, each player should get two 1-day extensions per game that they could set to be automatically used if they miss their deadline or to be manually used when they know they are likely to be AFK the next day. For team games I would suggest that teammates could set this to be automatically or manually used for other late/AFK teammates as they saw fit.
