Double games

Post by Pristella »

Hi

I tried to seach the site for info, but didn't find any, though I admit I was too lazy to go through all the forum... So, in doubles- and triples -games, is it allowed to make plans with your team mate out of other players' eyes, such as in forum priv message?

Yes. You can definitely do that. You want to talk to your teammate and there's nothing wrong with keeping your strategy hidden. It's when you're playing a regular game that secret alliances are bad.

Another question for Doubles games.

What is the rule regarding fortifying? I'm guessing I cannot fortify my partner with my armies, but can I move my armies across his territories? (counting them as contiguous with mine)

And I'd also like to know if a team can hold territories, or if it has to be just one player?

Like, if I have all of Australia except for New Guinea which is held by my team-mate, do we get the army bonus?

You need to have one person holding the continent to get the bonus even if the two people are on the same team.

You CAN fortify your partner with your armies.

How come I can't always fortify with my partner if our countries are all touching?

Huh... I would think I"d be able to fortify along a string of countries as long as they were controlled by me or a teammate. Ah well...
