D-Day map bonus Question

Post by tankster3 »

Ok on the D-Day map first can some explain which beaches are the inner and outer? same with the inner and outer ships please?

I had 21st panzers 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8, the 21st german artillery 1,2,3 and the 21st bunker 1 & 2.

I got the +2 bonus for the artillery and the bunker but not for holding the beach can someone explain why? most likely I'm being stupid and not seeing something. Game number is 950421. (although it been a few turns and I lost my beach and taken it back since then)

Thanks in advance guys!

The beaches are the sandy areas at the bottom. The dark green German territories don't give a bonus.

This is the 4th time I've seen this confusion. When we do the graphics update to address the red number problem I really hope mibi changes the beach text to +5 Easy Beach, +4 Other Beaches as I think that would get rid of all this confusion.

oh well I guess I'll go take a beach then thanks coleman. I assumed the inner/outer ran up and down not across.

You're not the only one, like I said, so no worries and I think yours is the more understandable of the two mistakes mibi has to fix. Some people were thinking the red numbers to label the territories were the red player so we have to fix that too.

The bonuses show up. If you didn't have the newest version of BOB, you couldn't see ANYTHING on that map. So, I'm not sure what's wrong with your game. Please post the game #.

If you can't see your armies or the opponents, then you need the newest version of BOB (Coleman has a thread somewhere with the link).

Thanks. I thought it might just be a problem with my java (it's been problematic on other sites). I did manage to win a game flying blind, but my opponent was also blind. It made for quite a challenge. :D
