Sequential or Random?

I'm sorry if this topic has been discussed on another thread, i have not been able to find it if that is the case. In several of my sequential games that i have started the order appears to be random. I know this was a possibility that people brought up but i was unaware that it had been put into place. Is there a randomized turn order or are they bugs?

Lack just added it, so you don't need to worry it's not a bug.

well god damn it! i rather liked the old, "i started the game thus i shall go first in the game" way of things. but hey, who cares about me?

But seriously, you would think that such a fundamental change in the way the games are started, which in turn, can ultimately effect the flow of the game would, at least, call for some type of announcement instead of a brief message, more as an afterthought in some remote thread that most players might have missed.

Yeah, there probably should have been a post made in the Announcements forum...

Nonetheless I think it's a great idea. When you play at home, is it the person whose idea it was to play that goes first? Not at my place. We roll to see who goes first.

I'm also quite glad that I can be the last to join a game now, without having to worry about getting screwed.

This is now the way the original game was intended, but came a little late for me in a Tournament Game where I signed up last and went last, where I would have at least had a chance at a better spot.

It'll probably hurt members like dugcarr1 the most as they start many games with the intention of going first. Some of those type members will now be in for a rude awakening.

Good job, Lack. Glad you implemented that.
