I can't say that I've played a map that I loathe (admittedly, I haven't played all) but it seems that there is an unspoken consensus on CC that the existence of Circus Maximus is resented by all.
Due to all you naysayers I can't even play it to find out why it's disliked.
Play Circus Maximus, you fiends!

Space = most hated
Discworld = most liked
Nothing wrong with Circus Maximus at all.

Montreal blows. But then again, so do French Canadians, so I guess it's accurate.

Though I've yet to play it I can't bring myself round to playing USAapoc... I just don't like the idea.

Yep. Once I finally made the stab I found it to be one of the most enjoyable of all.
Still, I'm unimpressed no one will play CM. I can't even get a game going because NO ONE will log in to play it.
You are all such capricious fellows.

I like CC's Asia map better - it's one of my faves! The one way routes and less-cartoony like coloring make it fun to play and more visually appealing.

I guess we'll just have to disagree. 1/3 of the CC Asia map is devoted to a large dragon, complete waste of space.
The one way route only further adds to the uselessness of USSR. When combined with the uselessness of China, because it is too large to be taken at any point where you have already won the map, the map has serious playability issues.

We might we enlarge the dragon so it consumes a full 95% of the play area.

and you figured this out from the 2 whole times you've played it? Funny, I've never had problems with it. Like I said, one of my faves.

Why exactly would I need to play it more to know that the USSR in undefendable?
Or that China is so large that the only purpose it serves is to be marched across and never taken until the game is already decided? Which is somewhat of a switch from other maps, but tactically boring.

qeee, give USApoc a shot. I didn't think I'd like it at first either, but then I played a few and won them, then suddenly I liked it! LOL I think the radiation territories add a nice twist. Some of the maps are boring to me b/c there is nothing unique about them, e.g. one-way routes, radiations, etc...
