Hi,

nice idea for a poll.

I'll have to vote for "Forza AZ". His tournament have always run smothly without any delays, his descriptions and idea are alway very clear and fun. keep up the good work man.

Just a small comment, please stop with those 1 on 1 tournaments. It's very unnatural to play risk that way.
highest rank: 168 (11/07) highest score: 2248 (09/09)

"Hellraiser" doubles winner
"Knights of the Round-Table" single winner
"primera division" doubles league winner

As long as there is a demand for the 1 vs 1 tournaments they will always be there. However, I think there are plenty of standard game tournaments still available. I am running several and will be announcing several more in the near future.

Okay, I have updated the list in the first post to include all of the nominations so far. We now have enough Tournament Organizers with at least 1 nomination that we will have to do some discussion on who should be included in the poll and who should not.

Right now, my plan is to use the top 9 (I believe that is how many I can have in the poll) in nominations to include. However, if there is a tie, I need some information from all of you to figure out who goes before someone else.

Please mention this nomination process to all of those who are in tournaments you are playing so we can get as large a sampling of nominations as we possibly can.

Nominee: MarVal

Reason: Champion's League and UECCF have been great. Great structure and statistics +much effort invested in finding all those banners and making the rank tables visualy appealing. I haven't played in many Tournaments, but I don't imagine that they come much better then this.

Due to the shear volume of responsibility running the NHL full season, I would nominate spidey among the other worthy nominees.

Marval

Because: I'm playing in his 'Lage Landen Toernooi' and it has been arranged superb so far. Great tournament and even more - with a nice story as an extra to it. He gets my vote!

Nomination #1: Optimus Prime
Reason: Has became a good friend through his CC tourneys, every tourney he puts on takes much dedication as does his unique tournament central. Dedicated in one word.

Nomination #2: Tieryn
Reason: New to the tournament game but has pulled out all the stops with unique tourney ideas and organization.

Nomination #3: Gozar
Reason: Great doubles partner but also a great organized tournament director. I have loved "The Long Walk" especially. I can only see his tournaments getting better in the future.

Ok, here are my top picks:

1. Optimus Prime - I just don't know how you manage all of the tourneys you have going on plus just day to day life. Hats off to you!

2. Spidey - The undertaking of such a large tourney has to be a nightmare, and he is doing an excellent job!

3. Gilligan - Well Ran and Organized tourneys! When looking to throw myself into the tourney ring his are always on the top my list to join.

4. Forza AZ - Excellent ideas and concepts. I've enjoyed the Formula 1 tourney but just can't seem to get anywhere in that one. always crashing in to the wall...oh well.

5. Coleman - Original Ideas and 1st (that I know of) to have a different web site to track of all the stats.

6. DIM - I really liked the concept of the Random Missions Tourney. Would like to see another one.

The nomination list has been updated for today. MarVal is still getting a steady stream of support, which is quite impressive if I do say so myself.

There are roughly 2 and a half days left for the nomination period and then I will close the nominations and create a poll with the top 8 or 9 Tournament Organizers as determined not only by total nominations but also the comments left by the players in general.

When I do create the poll I will do my best to include a short summary of why each Tournament Organizer was included in the poll. That way, all voters can have something to review and think about when making their choice.

not saying he would be my choice to win outright, but I do think yorkiepeter should get a nomination

my other 2 nominees are gilligan and optimus.

All 3 are great tourney organisers, super efficent, friendly and fine players too.

Don't now why people on here don't like being cooks, remember under siege: A former SEAL, now cook, is the only person who can stop a gang of terrorists when they sieze control of a US Navy battleship.

I would also like make my nomination #4 Gilligan because there aren't too many great organizers who are ALSO great players and I have had some of my best matches in Gilligan's tourneys against Gilligan.

Okay, the nominations are done and the voting is ready to begin. I'll pick a day to complete the voting after I see how it goes for a couple of days.

Technically you only got 8, because some of them were after the player had already nominated three, but I'm not going to get into that. You were supposed to be on the poll, but it was late at night. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. Poll has been fixed. :)

They're all pretty good. Some have real life come up and what not, but tournaments are generally well run and have good turn outs.

That being said ... I voted for *censored by me*.

I've got it set to be indefinite, but I'm keeping track of it and when we get a decent number of votes I'll set a deadline.
