I was thinking when playing the new WW2 Western Front map where you can basically annihilate an entire continent, why not make a map where annihilating and bombarding will be the encouraged way of beating your opponent?
I don't really have a specific idea of the map aside from that it would obviously contain at least the USSR and the USA and it's allies but the idea I have in mind is that several territories throughout the map will have missile silos and will be able to target a limited number of targets in the opposing "nation". Control a certain number and you'll be able to strike anywhere. I want the emphasis of the map to be rather on going in and conquering your opponent, you'll neutral him to death.
I think it still needs some refining but what do you think?

Woah...This almost exact idea is already being worked on by myself and windowmakers. It will be released soon enough

Duck and Cover (Foundry) & Istanbul (Map Ideas) both have similar game play features.
