And what of those whom don't play Skyrim at all, and were just looking forward to a mafia game modded by someone they know, amongst a sea of unfamiliar faces?

Well, I'll let the Storm Cloaks deal with you! You're obviously not a Nord, so they'll want your head on a pike!

Actually...Yes...It can be..If there are more than 4 words (AKA you copied 3 of them).

Unvote Vote CLEVER for OMGUSing with extremely faulty logic.

Vote Crazy for having a life filled with what I can only assume is Skyrim instead of mafia.

ghostly447 wrote:Vote Xenhu Because I has never played with you sir :-s

Fun Fact: I still have a role pm from one of XenHu's old mafia games. It had a link to the mikeburnfire flash site and I hung on to it.

Another Fun Fact: That was also the first game I won as mafia (I think).

Unvote, Vote PCM for mentioning being mafia and winning in the same sentence!

Also we should set a deadline for everyone for joke voting... Say till Friday?

I'm going to appeal to my Xbox on this one.

Also, joke voting is just a natural thing. You can't force it to end, because you don't have any tells. Not that it'll last more than a day or two anyway, most likely.

Ugh, I forgot about this. Probably my least favorite part of the game.

I'm going to be a grumpy old codger, and tell you all just how much I loathe joke votes. I disliked it when I used to play, and I dislike it now. The only reason I used to let it slide before was that, while it happened, I don't seem to recall it happening within the first 5 posts of day 1. Now, back in my day, when votes weren't tossed around like a five-dollar whore on Fishbowl Fridays, we had this little thing we liked to call FOS. Finger Of Suspicion. I'd love to see that a little more. You know, like this:

FOS: Anyone who registered after 09, was absent during the founding of Spamalot, do not know who Reverend Kyle was, or that my first mafia game was Andy's Finn Rock Fallout
(met a lot of fine people there, shame so few are still around)

Wow, really? I'm impressed pancake! :D Also, that should be required reading for those that play mafia. Shame I can't seem to find the link again myself.

Yup, I believe that was V for Vendetta. You had a rather gruesome final kill scene if I recall....

Nope. Basically because of what pancake said.

Love it, it helped me fakeclaim to a perfect mafia win my very first game.
Also, sorry, but I am unfortunately forbidden from using emotive finger gestures immediately after reading my role :P

Tsk tsk no editing allowed lol. As far as the days being so "long" I'm sure if we can come to a consensus we can get a lynch way before the day is "scheduled" to end especially without Mandy here to confuse things :)

As far as the vote hopping, that is why in several of my old games I put a "limit" on votes per day aka Civil War and American Revolution. It made extra work for me keeping track of how many votes each person did, but severely limited the random votes from occurring for the most part.

My excuse for Xbox Skyrim is that I own a Mac.

My excuse for owning a Mac is I need to run Final Cut.
