1. The ranks have been discussed forever
2. So nobody get's an unfair advantage to start out, it's 1/3 neutral, 1/3 player 1, and 1/3 player 2
3. No it's not...don't buy anything if you don't want to.
4. Matter of opinion...
5. Shut the hell up and if you don't like CC then leave. CC would be a lot better without you.

I like all the improvements you guys have made to the site! I haven't been here as long as some, but I thought I'd add my two cents in anyway.

Also, if someone could answer this for me: When I look at the scoreboard, I noticed that there are LT's ranked higher than Captains... why is this, when to make Captain you have to break 2000 and some of the LT's have over 2200 points??

I thought I looked all over the site for the answer, but I didn't find anything explaining that.

There are 2 requirements to achieve a rank.

1. You must have a certain amount of points
2. You must have a certain amount of completed games

The LT's that have higher scores than Captains don't have enough completed games to achieve the Captain rank yet.

All that info can be found in the Instructions

One addition that would be nice in the future is an icon showing who is on and who is not...maybe a little button that changes color...just a thought.

After you finish basic training you're usually sent as a replacement in the
marines and are considered a total greenhorn.

However it is a fighting rank as opposed to cook. I would suggest replacement take the place of cook as a rank.

Rignt now I'm still a new recruit so it's neither here nor there for me but would rather end up a replacement than a cook or clerk. l

Nobody who has it seems too pleased with the cook rank. Since this site is all about fighting.

After you finish basic training you're usually sent as a replacement in the
marines and are considered a total greenhorn.

However it is a fighting rank as opposed to cook. I would suggest replacement take the place of cook as a rank.

I like being a cook. I'd much rather fire off rounds of breakfast meat than machine gun ammo.

The two player games are great (I have yet to try Real Time-Freestyle -- that would be wild!!

I am not, however a big fan of the new ranks. A little to heavy on the enlisted side. I don't think it's very credible for a private or corporal to be in command of an army the way this is represented. I'd prefer to see "officers only", with a focus on field command rank (colonel and above). If you're going to add ranks, make them officers.

Sure, you'd rapidly run out of General ranks and Marshals and War Marks, and Iron Dukes, and Battle-Kings and so on... So Commanders, Lieutenants, Officer Cadets would have to help to push non-order giving ranks down to the level of the coloured numbers we drive around the screen.

(The cook rank is funny (in a charming way) but I'd rather see something like Subaltern or Midshipman)

I love the fact that there are more ranks, however, they are so inaccurate. A bar in other ranking systems was for the first officer, a lieutenant - in this system it is the lowest rank, lower than a chef?

I just wish the organization of the ranks made a little more sense.

Other than that great work with the site.

P.S. If you were thinking of reorganizing the ranks you could google any military or otherwise rank-using organization.
