I'm really struggling here, but we're running out of questions so I'm just going to think about it a bit more - it's the designed (in the last 100 years!) for sitting part (but not a chair) and less than four legs thats bugging me....

Wow, this is hard. A sitting object, that some schools might have, that has less then four legs, no wheels, and is not made of plastic, synthetic materials, is not electronics and was invented in the past century.

I don't think he ever said anything about less than 4 legs. It could have more or less. It might also be used for something else besides sitting.. if you notice the 'technically' besides it.

Yeah, I was thinking about that too. hmm...

lol. I've looked around my house and couldn't find anything that fits the description. Sofas have been around for ages and so have beds and toilets. Our exercise bike has wheels so its not good. Our exercise ball thing doesn't have legs.
