Well, for some strange reason, the organizer couldn't read my TWO messages telling that my home map (for Rhode Island) is AFRICA II, and my home map is being listed as Random. I know that it's a lot of trouble to organize such a tournament, etc., but I feel disrespected since he asked me two times and I never answered nothing near of random, so why did he assume it? I hate to play random maps, I'll ask to leave the tournament if this can't be solved

Sorry serram, I didn't see your notes...I'll look back through my messages. But my apologies. I'll get you updated to Africa II for the rest of the tourney. What are the settings you like with that map?

Sent out the Game 6 batch tonight...this set marks our League vs. League Challenge.

We have each league matched up with all teams from one of the other leagues to battle for bragging rites.

Five teams still in the running for longest unbeaten team to start the season with Miami and Harvard leading the charge with 5-0 starts.

The initial RPI top 25 has been posted with Miami coming out in the No. 1 spot.

The RPI is a rankings formula that uses a mix of strength of schedule, top-25 wins along with home/away record to determine rankings. It is used to help determine at-large bids for the March Madness phase of play. It is only one of several tools used in that process.

We are down to Miami and Nebraska and the only unbeaten teams remaining ... both a 5-0.

In the Game 6 Challenge week...the SEC is throwing a shutout so far against Great Lakes winning all five games that have gone final so far.

Also with a good showing is the Northwest Conference, which is up 5-1 on the Mid-America group.

Nebraska moves to 6-0 becoming the final unbeaten team in the league and taking the 200 CC credits prize. Well done

Lost in 14 rounds +4 to you, troops bonus + 1 to you
Lost in 15 rounds +3 to you, spoils +2 to you, troops +1 to you

I botched it on my last turn of the 15 rounder, if I didn't attack at all that turn you'd have one less spoils and get one less bonus - oof

The scoring format is listed in an image in the top post to this thread.

Standings are updated and we have winners through the first batch of in-season tournaments. Champions for those first three events are Michigan State, Washington and Illinois.

The Big East is the top league to this point in the season with 45 combined wins.

Standings updated and the new top-25 rankings are released with 8-0 Nebraska keeping hold of their No. 1 spot.

The invites going out tonight mark the start of the league schedules, so make your mark in your league and strengthen your case for a spot in March Madness.

Also note: League records are what will be used to seed the conference tourney brackets at the end of the regular season.

and Michigan State takes the Diamond Head Classic, giving the Spartans two holiday tourney championships.

New top-25 and Nebraska remains on top at the No. 1 spot for the fourth consecutive week...Huskers are now 11-0, although it appears that first loss is imminent.

Georgia returns at No. 2 for the third straight week.

We've got a pair of teams that are off to 4-0 starts in league play ... Kansas & Boise State.
