Still havent played or gotten my round 3.

i wonder where dirty birdy is... did he just abandon this tourny or wat?? if u do get this dirty birdy tell us wats happening plz

Hey everybody...was talkin to my good friend DirtyBirdy...as of now he's been havin trouble with keeping the tourney going because a lot of people that joined, after figuring out they had no chance at all of moving to the next round after the first two games were played, many have abandoned us winners and possible next rounders and just not signed in to their next game...I myself waited for about 3 weeks on 2 people for my third round game...still have yet to play it...he's been trying to get enuff substitutes to fill all the blank spots...on top of this all he (DB) is in the middle of a big move to another part of the province...so if you all have the patience to finish this tourney, I'm sure he will have it up and running soon enuff and we can all finish our third round games and move on to the fourth round...after all, I don't think any of us will be deleting conquer club from our computers anytime soon, so just keep on playin your daily games, have fun,kill each other,get killed, and keep your eyes on your inbox and he or we will mail you your game numbers as soon as we possibly can...on behalf of DirtyBirdy and myself, thank you for your patience, see you on the battlefield and hopefully in the finals...Man Canada Rocks...Peace, Love & Nuclear Bombs...DOOMSBURY

getting substitute is not the answer... he can just make matches with the players that wants to play...

Shame on all of you who cut and ran when you lost a game or two. This is not the Canadian way. You knew how many rounds this was when you started. Everyone that split should hang their heads in shame, I'll do the same because you are my brothers.

Ironically I'm guessing, not one person this is meant for will read it.

alright dudes and dudettes........... I guess i have pissed everyone off just enough.... the original idea here was to have a great tourney, and it was shaping up that way.... unfortunately for one reason or another i had too amny people drop out... it got to the point that I couldn't keep up with everything... and still keep to the original "idea".

SO.... that being said i would once again be prepared to commit my time and effort to re-organizing this tourney... it would be kept to premium only..... unless someone can convince me otherwise... i am not sending out 100 messages only to get 50 replies saying that games haven't started because some non-prem member just started a 6 player no card game on world 2.1 map....

It would be a total re-start... and I would take responsibility for rounding up players... but again would be asking for everyone to try and find enough "commited" players to make this thing work

I am away this week end, but I will send out some messages to get a feel for peoples responsiveness to this idea.....

I apologize for the fiasco that this has turned into and will do my best to make it up to everyone.
