Re: guatemala(v3)
The gray territories appear to be very unnecessary to me.

Re: guatemala(v3)
Personally I think the grey territs are good.
However they need to be part of some bonus rather than on their own otherwise there is no point in capturing them in my point of view. Plus whoever start on them will be disadvantaged because they will have no bonus to go for.
The other thing I want to say is that is there any way you could go for sub-provinces escpecially in the big territ at the top which while it occupies a lot of space seems an unnessecary loss of space. Perhaps make it with subs and a bonus all of its own?
Personally I like it.

Re: guatemala(v3)
Still think you should get rid of the gray territories, and we need another update for this map!

Re: guatemala(v3)
The gray territories really wouldn't do anyone any good unless they make the colored regions significantly more difficult to defend. With little exception, the ones on this map just don't do that.

Re: guatemala(v3)
yeah.... someone, forgot who, told me to add more territs like the brazil map, currently in construction. It had some territories in no bonus scheme... He said there were too few territories, but then again, he also said ConquerClubbians have a special place for small maps, so I think I will remove it

Re: guatemala(v3)
I think you mean the Peru map... to be honest, I'm not a fan of extra territories on that map either.

Re: guatemala(v4)
Ah crap... I forgot to sticky your thread. Basically you hang tight for a few days while Tacktix and I get together and discuss your map. Tack is in a bit of a transition from finishing school to moving to his post, so it might be a tad longer than usual. I'll keep you updated!

Re: guatemala(v4)
The map looks reasonably clean and a good start on gameplay (though I'd like to see some impassables personally, the track record of no impassables is really shaky). Could you please start posting the latest version in your update posts as well, please? That way one doesn't have to have up two browser windows to comment on your map.

OK, thanks! Can't believe I'm saying this but using the com is boring, now that my premie ran out. Now I have something to do!

Re: guatemala(v5)
Hm. IMO the rivers would look better if you would just "cut" river shaped "holes" into the land area so that the background sea layer would show through. This way they would be more obvious as impassables and more consistent in style.

Re: guatemala(v5)
Meh, your choice, but I don't see why you wouldn't take advantage of that fine looking sea layer you have (which looks way better than the rivers you currently have.) Feeling lazy?
