I like the idea, but it seems like it would be quite difficult to implement.

Couldn't a script be written or a function in BOB that would allow snapshots or other useful things to be emailed on a click? Something like this script could also work for snapshots? https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2343/

Or maybe this is something that could be sent as a PM to your CC inbox? If a script was written to take a snapshot and then there was an automated process to send a PM to yourself?

There should be a way of doing this without increasing the CC server load.

I think phantomzero has the right idea. Some sort of export/import function would be amazing, and there's no worries about security or server access.

Well, unless there is a server-side layer for each tool (BOB and so on) - there is no way to save it on the server side.

So we need some work to be done on the server side that would allow us to store some arrays of data on the server. But I think it will load the server a lot (I mean really a lot) and not sure if lack can go for it.

Does anyone have the ability to talk to lack about this and get his feedback or input on possible ways it would work from his side?

I know he is probably busy and may not like the idea at first presentation, but it is something I see that would help a lot of his customers if he can make it work.
