OK, this new red when you can't take a double turn indicator is screwing me up already... can we please use a different color or go back to the way it was?

I almost lost a game to Panzey because I thought by glancing at the "my games" page that he still had to go to complete the round, not start the round.

Don't worry, we'll instruct the moderators to be more like guides rather than police.

Indeed, With the exception of posts by Wicked, the new mod team will keep with the general feel of the current forum, promise. Wicked's posts, however, will all be shut down on principle ;)

I will be building guidelines, a team and all the other gubbins that we need this week, then everything will be run by lack and then the community. I have no intention of being the anal-retentive control freak that we all know I can be ;)

Have a great day guys, thanks for the kind notes.

Nice work, again.

The technical changes esp the picklist is very good. That Twill have become moderator is great, and if its the same Twill that was ladderopp on cases ladder for zone he will be a true asset for all.
Will you please, when you have time do some tourneys? They used to be fun and a nice change from regular playing.
Keep up the good work guys, and hope you have fun doing it :)

Sadly the person doing the laderop over on the zone was merely an imposter of me, however, we do intend on having someone establish regular tournaments.

Keep your eyes open this week for what's happening on my end of the team.

Good work Lack. I especially applaud your choice of Twill as the community manager. I never liked him very much anyway. Now I can be assured that he will rapidly become the least popular member of C Club....lol

lackattack wrote:* In Freestyle (no double turns) games, double turns count for the whole team and not just individual players (as suggested by zorba_ca, RLeary06, kingwaffles, nhulbert and wicked)

Could someone explain this one to me? I haven't played a Freestyle game since my work site blocked my access, but I'm curious as to what is happening here.

I have played 'double, freestyle, no double turn' before. The way it worked for me was Team 1 (players a & b) v Team 2 (players c & d):
Turn 1 - a plays, b plays .... much later c plays then d plays
Turn 2 - after d plays in Turn 1 then c plays immediately allowing d to play again as soon as c starts. Is this what you are eliminating? If I understand then Turn 2 would have to be started by either a or b. Correct?

before the new rule in a no double turns game you could end last, then your teammate could go, then you could go, just like a regular no double turns game (where somone needs to start their turn before you can go) Now, your whole team has to wait until somone on another team starts their turn. Just like a regular no double turns game, but now it effects your entire team.
