um, does this mean that the losers of the 1st round five player games are going to be playing each other again in their four player 2nd round game? I can't see how this is a good thing.

Ok - I get the annoying extra tab on the left beneath game finder, but seriously we need a huge blue information bar as well as the annoucements page, home page, Facebook and twitter?

Can't you just update the damn thing on the left to conquer club II? Or make it blink when a new one opens until you click on it once to get our attn.

The information bar is super annoying @ top of our games page. Really.

He could have signed up before his ban. I signed up for this one a few months ago.

This is a good point that I think needs to be addressed. If the auto game making system works the way it did in the previous cup, then once the round 1 game ends the four losers will immediately be placed into a game with the same players for round 2. I think that this is undesirable and that the Round 2 pairings should be randomized. Was this considered at all when this was setup?

Albiestar pre-registered for Conquer Cup II back in November before his latest ban. No problem, though. I manually removed him from the tourney and refunded his registration fee.

Actually, it is intentional. It will be like a re-match 8-)

I'm registered for the Cup and it's still there. I can visit again, but it's there right now.

It shouldn't be there too long anyway, it's filling up VERY quickly. 446 people, was at 200-something earlier.

Fair enough, it stuck around for longer then one visit, but after about 15 mins it went away on my screen. I can handle that, i thought it'd be a permanent until it fills type fixture, which would have been super annoying.

you should change the map - like do 2.1 or maybe a variety of popular maps imo.

No 2.1! You just want that because it's your best map. Some of us suck at that one, you know.

How about all the games on Poison Rome. That would be cool.

I'm sure with future cups we'll explore the possibility of alternative settings and maps...but while we start to get our feet under the Conquer Cup, I think everyone can enjoy Classic and the standard-ish settings!

It's filling up pretty fast!

Running naked covered in honey through a war zone with a hungry bear chasing you could be exciting too.
Neither sounds pleasant.

Yeah, I do like that one, but if I remember right, when there was that 'what's your favorite map' poll a few months ago, world 2.1 was the most popular map, which is another reason I suggested it - another one which could be fun is doodle :) but somehow dont see that happening

Wait a minute, 640 / 5 = 128 winners R1
(640 - 128) / 4 = 128 R2
(128 + 128) / 4 = 64
64 / 4 = 16
16 / 4 = 4
4 / 4 = 1

....nevermind. it works out. Not that I ever doubted you, lacky. Never!
