I get your frustration. What you need to understand is for the last several months I've been doing the work of three people at work, and I really haven't had the time or the energy for CC. We're in the last eight months of our contract, and last year the company made the decision that in the last year of the contract it wouldn't hire anyone. Any vacancies that occurred were just going to be plugged with existing people doing more.

In the last four weeks I've worked 245 hours. Last week alone, I worked 82. Last Tuesday, 19.5. So you get that when I do get home and log in to CC, I don't have anything left in me to be doing creative work like writing new Challenges.

I'm a 62 year-old fat guy with serious Afib. I'm supposed to be to be taking it easy, and instead I'm working 80-hour weeks. My heart is palpitating like crazy. I'm popping the bisoprolol two at a time -- way in excess of the safe dose -- and it's not working any more. I really, really, really don't give a dried monkey's rectum if my (purely volunteer) work on CC falls behind a bit while my real work in my real job is killing me.

The good news is that looking forward, I may have an easy week this week, so I may recover enough creative juices to cobble something together for the December Challenge. Not promising, but I am hopeufl.
