god i hate that

Music is like candy, you throw the rappers away

I kinda hate how everyone bags on rappers. Sure they dont actually play the instruments, but SOME of them are quite talented lyricists.

if u didnt know, i live in white suburbia
so therefore all rap that i hear is the crappy kind

with rappers like 50 cent, nelly, and mims *shudders*

im not saying there isnt good rap, i actually kinda like will smith
and also my cousin who lives in london, has some underground stuff that is rly good
so when i say i hate rap, its the rap i hear on the radio

Your Mum is clearly the greatest artist of all time. She's not a rapper.

QFT

But if you had to single out a single person you should single out Trent Reznor.

if he had lived longer, imo, Hendrix would have been known as the greatest musician ever. so my vote would have to go for the post acid Beatles. some absolutely amazing songs. also made the movie Yellow Submarine which is excellent to trip to

I wouldnt go that far, I'd say Hendrix or even a young Zakk Wylde would have him beat. If you havent seen Wylde, its a delight to see the things he can do with a guitar.

Sure he's fast, but look how slowly he goes between necks. The fact that he is playing a tri neck guitar says nothing about his guitar playing skills only about his money.

sorry to say so, but ...

he started with zappa, continued with satriani (with whom he does the G3 gig, satriani, vai and a 3rd guest guitarist)

btw, he designs his own guitars, which are all custom made

you say he goes slowly between necks ?? he doesn't go between necks !!
he uses a unique technique he's developped himself !!

even though some of his music is very 'experimental' (in the zappa way) and difficult to listen to, he IS definately one of the very best ...

He does too.. go between necks I meant switch necks. He is quite talented, but I find him incredibly boring even though he is currently considered one of the greatest guitarists. I'll take jimmy page over him anyday.
