Yeah, that's 1000 times better. I made a note to change it for next year, but for this one, we just continue as it is. Thanks for bringing this up! It's so easy to miss these things, especially after re-reading 100 times.

For everyone, if you see anything that you think needs to be updated/changed, please do let us know. For most things we have to wait until the following iteration, but we can at least leave notes in our forum to change what is requested.

If something is reasonably positive for everyone I don't think there is a need for us to wait for the next CC. Changing it now would make it in a pair with the 12 hour Fog rule. No one would negotiate over, and some games will finish sooner.

Just want to remind all that the 5 week deadline for Round One is Sunday, February 16, 2025 at 23:59 CCT. All games must be made by this time!

Forfeits will be given if deadlines are not met.

Due to being one day late in making their set two games, DBD will receive a one game default. All the games will be played out as normal. At the conclusion of the war the CD's will remove one game that DBD win from the clan database and will adjust the final score accordingly.

That's not how the penalty was applied last time. I didn't see any rule change from previous event.
Therefore I believe the opposant of DBD should pick one of of the late game now and got that one as a free win.

The way the default was done in the ACES vs LHDD case was done on the fly. It resulted in the forfeited game being won by ACES so in effect there was no punishment for LHDD. The way it's being done this time will result in a 1 point deduction from the defaulting clan. A much fairer way.

FOED have not complied with the 6 week deadline in their war against OLDS and have one game that has not started Game 23719586

One FOED win will be removed from the database at the end of the war and will not count in FOED's total points score.

Officially we would like to delay the start of the FALL vs ACES war for 1 week. In the FALL vs DBD war we achieved 22 mark this morning but we have ~40% unfinished games from that war. In parallel we also have CL match vs ACES.
As you guys prefer to not have overlapping of CC events we prefer to not have huge overlapping of wars from same event.

ACES have kindly agreed to this request.

LION has officially defeated RET in their Round 1 match.

LION will now face LHDD in Round 2. The 6-week deadline starts this Sunday, March 9th, and goes until Sunday, April 20th Sunday, March 16th, and goes until Sunday, April 27th.

That's not according to the rule thread :

Subsequent rounds start the Sunday after the 2 clans meeting in the next round have been decided.

Once winner is known, the six week deadline start following Sunday. Doesn't matter if there are still lot of games ongoing.

I know and I'm sorry for any confusion. Keefie was not aware that I have been following this general principle. Things obviously need to be added in to the rules. This is totally 100% on me and I do apologize. For now, we can just have the 6 weeks start for all three wars next Sunday so no one feels that things are being handled unfairly. If anyone has an issue with this, please post. To be clear, we will NEVER be giving clans extra weeks based solely on agreement by the opposing clan. Obviously things happen in real life and we can always adjust for emergencies if absolutely necessary.

The 6-week deadline for all three of these wars starts Sunday, March 16th, and goes until Sunday, April 27th.

OLDS has officially defeated FOED in their Round 1 match. OLDS will now face A^ in Round 2.


The 6-week deadline for this war starts on Sunday, March 23rd, and goes until Sunday, May 4th.

The 6 week deadline for the first semi-final LHDD v A^ started today and runs to July 27th.

The 6 week deadline for REP vs ACES starts July 6th and ends on August 17th.

The 6 week period for the final between LHDD and ACES begins on September 21st and ends on November 2nd.
