No. I'm pretty sure I saw what I saw. I've talked with some of my friends also, and they agree they've seen the same thing on their own time too.

Then again, we can't outrule the possibility that it's just something else.

i think that it was something else, although i do believe that somewhere out there, there is intelligent life, after all isnt the universe infinite?

You can't use one faith based idea to prove the non-existence of another faith based idea. It just doesn't work.....
God hasn't told us about global warming but it exists. God hasn't told us about stars but they exist. God hasn't told us about Black Holes but they exist. I could go on and on and on.....

I don't want to presume on anybody's beliefs, but I'm an athiest and I promote atheism.

My main point being thus:

There is suffering in the world. Everyone can agree on that. Now, if there IS a god, then there are two possible reasons there is suffering in the world. Either God is incapable of stopping suffering, or he is merely unwilling to help.

If God is incapable of helping us, then IMO he isn't that great of a God and so I'm not going to worship him. If he simple refuses to help, then I don't think he's a very nice guy at all and doesn't deserve my worship.

So there you have it. If he exists or not, he's not much help to anyone.

Ok, sure there are a few people who have had "miracles," but they heavily outweigh the people who haven't. People pray for stuff, and they don't get it usually. Then they say "oh, the lord works in mysterious ways. its Gods will that I don't recieve what I want." Well thats fine, but if its Gods will then he's gonna do what he wants to anyways, so why the hell bother to pray in the first place?

Just my two cents...

Why couldn't UFOs exist?

God has told us about stars...He created them. As well as black holes. God has told us of his creation. About angels and demons... heaven and Hell. He would have told us about "aliens". Not that people don't "see" them. Like ghosts do not exist either but I do not doubt people when they say that they see them. Why? Beause demons can "appear" any way they choose to decieve people. Thus ghosts = demons and if anyone ever see's an alien that too would be a demon in disguise.

Some people also think that in the flood story of the bible...where it mentions that Noah and his family were the last pure people on earth...that it actually means the last pure strand of DNA, not just pure in the spiritual sense.

OK, lets try to explain this. God gave us free will. So much of the suffering comes because of us humans we commit the suffering or sit by and let it happen. God does intervine all the time. The sick are healed , the blind can see and the lame walk. Why not all prayers answered? Because God only hears the prayers of His children (as pointed out in scripture). If you do not know God He will not hear (listen too) your prayers. Also, when a Christians prays it must be according to Gods will. So we can't pray for 1 million dollars and expect to recieve it. UNLESS it is Gods will.

I'm too lazy to argue with the whole post, I'll just go for the asy bit here.....

The sick are healed by the human body and it's amazing healing powers or by medicine, not God's will. And the blind can see because of modern medicine again, nothing more.
Give me an exomple of times it is clearly god that has made blind people see and lame people walk.
