what, you dont like drota or dragoons of the apocalypse? or the imperial horsemen? thotgoons is lack luster at best. we expect better from you jim. :-P

don't be preposterous... 'dragoons of the apocalypse' is better than both original names .. the aim was to vilify not gilt.
'imperial horsemen' is not bad either as handles go.. though i was not seeking to swathe your marriage in the trimmings of grandeur.

The point was to bring attention to the fact that you felt the need to make an alliance in a 2 man game (figuratively speaking)... heheheh now that is low. (no offence Benji!)

Drota.. that does have a certain lumbering stupidity about it but you deserved a little more.
So i went ThotGoons.. like the Thot-police but without the potency; the Keystone cops of the Intelligence world if you will. ;)

This clan fight is gonna fall through jimi/lucky/first if you guys don't get some balls.
We incredibly limited our maps (which we never do), and there's no fog and no FS (those are a given) but now I"m hearing that no one will join an unlimited fort map....
well too many limitations for a clan battle....
Even Thota had the wherewithal to battle us on nearly whatever we threw at them.

NO other clan we have battled has ever put such limitations on us, and we've NEVER put any limitations on anybody else. this is just plain silly.

it would have been great games with our hands tied behind our back, we dont ask for alot of exceptions, but we did ask for some. and nester has made way more concessions towards your liking then i ever would have made. its no longer fair when we all have to play ONLY on the maps that yall hand-pick. how is that supposed to be an even challenge? your tilting the odds in your favor, and we call bullshit on it.

To boot,
I caught a lot of hell from my clan on this and defended you monkies with the fairness argument against AOR maps and whatnot, but a no unlimited fort rule is pretty stupid. What's next no esc?

EDIT: Then approach us when you gain experience overcoming VARIOUS playing styles.

we were told that there could be exceptions. so yeah, we knew that yall would make a few exceptions, which apparantly has more stipulations than we were not originally informed about.

i mean, its not like ALL the games we got goin are gonna be unlimited on aor2. there are relatively a small percentage of the games that we were requesting exceptions for.

it is the exact opposite, we have already set up games, that you people are refusing to join, and dont want to forfeit. so what are we supposed to do?

Firstly, as you know, we are working on expanding to a more diverse map list (we now have an internal 'academy' to do so) but at this moment, most Monki's have not played any of the maps on our Red list. For you to ask us to play on maps which we have not played on does not seem a fair test of who is the superior clan.

The maps which are available are the simple ones accessible to all. Those maps which we make available to the challenge do not require specific knowledge and do not harbour traps for the uninitiated.
In short: you know all the maps on our lists as well as we do.

This leads to the utmost fairness in the trial.

What we try and do is limit the amount of luck which we are subjected to in the Challenge.
In so doing, we attempt to maximise the reliance upon skill and intellect for victory.

We have, over many thousands of games between us, weeded out Flat rate cards and Unlimited forts as two of the key factors in fortune based results.
Flat Rate, depends on getting the right cards and at the right time.
Unlimited, is disproportionately affected by drop, supply chains and who initiates the game.

If you would like to maximise your luck through the settings and also play us on a bunch of boards we have never played on before..... then perhaps we are both barking up the wrong tree.

how does that work? no games were played, you were the ones that refused to join some games, if anyone forfeits it should be yall. but thats not honorable. it is cancelled.

Jesus cheer up Hw! I assumed we were entering into banter, not serious discourse on our claiming victory.
You were calling us immature, i was throwing some back about you breaking the agreement, you know how it works.

Haha

This is strange after a 9-1 win from jim me and wain(thotha) against the dragoons.

It's like you know you can't win.

You challenged us and agreed on the settings wich you knew (especially after reading the Monki-low episode)

Again don't blaim us, you accepted and now you wanna change the rules.

unacceptable for us and you know that 2.

anyway good luck guys and come back when you are better players.

was it not agreed on before hand that there would be exceptions? and whose job was it to tell that to the rest of your clan?

you all keep speaking like that wasnt a factor, when before this began we discussed it at length
