i always post have fun instead of good luck. that way i am not lying

i'll say hello, but no i do not wish my opponent,s good luck
a few months back i started thinking it was insincere of most players, so i would say ,"good luck to you in your next game"

I mean it. I don't have anything against opponents having good luck, so long as it's not at my losing-15-bazillion-to-a-single army type expense.

Upon review, I'm now offering "hi and have fun."

Anyway, I played someone recently who said, "May your dice all be sixes in every game but this one." Thought that was funny.

I always used to make sure I said good strategy when someone wished me good luck. Now I'm lazy and will have a simple gl,hf,lol,omg!

I do say good luck, because it will take good luck to make a game out of it. Not that I don't hope for better luck myself.

Where's the option that says "I say it because I really do want them to have good luck... because I think I can beat them, luck notwithstanding."

I actually thought 'gl' meant 'get lost'.
I found it quite refreshing how honest people were..

pink: gl
yellow: yeah, gl everybody
blue: gl to you too
etc.

Since that illusion is now shattered, I shall have to change my approach.

Think I'll go for 'DIE' from now on - that should get my sentiments across quite nicely.

I tend to favor "Rot in hell you motherfucking dickwads" over "gl".

I usually say gl. Sometimes I mean it. I really do mean it when I am playing people I know though. It's like when atheists say 'bless you' after someone sneezes. Even if they don't mean it, it's kind of habit and people think it's polite.

And every time someone sneezes i say "god bless you" opposed to bless you, cause well, im not the lord

i say gl cause its appropriate..or have a good game just cause its ettiquite
what i hate is when you are 1v1 and someone says gl after round 2 after they drop oceania and take 3 territories first turn from me...
