A new fresh start, statistically speaking, not reputationally, is what I was after. I really better go, I do not wish to keep disobeying the rules. Just trying to squeeze my case in here. I think you went about this in the wrong way. I would have started a new account from a different IP once I had finished the original account's games. Completely finished them. I think that was where your error was, you should have finished Ramned's games first.

Once I had paid for premium on the second account I would have started playing on that account and forgot about the first one entirely.

Can't see why one couldn't get away with that...

This was a problem caused by impatience. I saw the original thread (as did many people) and pretty much knew this would happen.

Saying that, I would hope CC is able to show some flexibility on this.

You're dead on, that was a sucky mistake. I hope they do show flexibility. I sent in a few etickets. The account I would use is not this one, I created this one so I could say something. Then again it is their policy.

There is always the contentious issue of points. Obviously, the ? named sseltser would not be what it seems. Not a huge problem in the grand scheme of things I suppose, and definitely not as much a problem as poor old ned had...whatever he did to deserve such treatment I'll never know.

Hmm...I suppose I've never found points to be personally contentious , though I know others do!

I would think lot's of players have done what I am suggesting Ramned should have done and had no problem. You never know, maybe one day I'll retire from CC, The BpB and all the rest of it and come back after a well-deserved holiday as Mr D.

Except next time I'll be an undercover agent who's face has been surgically altered to make him blend in with the Chinese masses. Mr D = D for danger!

There's a major flaw with your statement....you've now clicked a box FOUR times that says "I will only have 1 account". It doesn't have "at a time" at the end, or anything else...period, point, dot....1 account.

Probably...though I'd love to see some input from Twill or Lack on this. I understand it's a business, but when someone basically comes out and says "I'm going to multi because I want a fresh start", well, how should that be handled ?

If it's about business, my take would be to shut down the new account, make the old freemie, and they can buy premium for the original account only. I think this happened quite differently for the Warsteiner situation, but I didn't go back and dig through C&A to see.

I'm curious, though, about the other accounts Ramned mentioned and whether or not we'll see that turn up in C&A.

the renegades account is still premium and he is able to play on it when he wants but he doesnt like cc much any more and has stopped playing...
