I agree with SprCobra..... while the idea of unlimited games for premium members is good.... the results of it are serious problems with servers. You can only run so many games at once. The 4 games per day really isn't the issue.... it's the people like my friend who plays around 20-30 games at a time. I know there are alot of premium members so that has to eat away at the servers.

I wouldnt mind if you limited premie ( and I'm premie )... As far as I'm concerned premium membership is a donation...

^ Yea, I think people like him is the reason we need to limit the # of premie games.

Also, when he gets AJAX up and running, a lot of bandwidth will be saved. :D

UPDATE: The website is now running on the new server, and the game limit is back up to 4 :D

Let's cross our fingers and hope that it doesn't crash

Maybe now I can get back to working on game improvements

Regarding the discussions about premium players bringing down the system, only 2 premiums had over 30 games. The average premium plays 11 games at once. When I posted this announcement there were 2900 game spots filled by free members and 1400 game spots filled by premium members.

I think it's smart to temporarily limit the membership people for the time being. If it'll help conserve resources, it's the best thing to do

I think that a time limit on some games is a good idea and that there should be like a 1 or 2 year limit on premium mebership. It would help plus if you really need to play that many games u should than be able to pay the cost again.

I think we should also look at the post dates on this thread. I believe this issue ahs been pretty much resolved with the new server.

I believe that I would be one of those, but in my case I log in when I get to work and play the whole day, roughly 8 hours and then proceed to play at home. But at the same time to have that many games is a bit much and I would be fine with a high cost. This is like morphine at my job.
I can almost guarantee a loss and misspelled words.
