You have to ask?
Will I make enough money, will the baby be healthy, will I be a good dad, will I drop the baby on it's head, will I need to build additions onto the house, will the baby be allergic to our cats, do we need a bigger car, etc. etc. etc.

I wasn't quite ready for this and we weren't 'trying'... We only wanted to start a family in about 2 years' time.

Theres always coathangers and vacuums.

Alright, I was looking at the map again and it looks pretty close to finished in my (biased :P) eyes.

Can we start getting this going again, so I can finish this map off?

As always, latest version is on page 1.
I would like some feedback before I change anything on the map again...

Can we have a small and large map somewhere? (apologies if I missed it!)

can you please clarify the adjacent countries for the purposes of the bonus as its unclear as to whether the other side of the mountains would be interrted as adjacent - my instinct is they are but can this be clarified - i cant see it explained anywhere in the thread
Don't now why people on here don't like being cooks, remember under siege: A former SEAL, now cook, is the only person who can stop a gang of terrorists when they sieze control of a US Navy battleship.

Honestly, for me, a large and small version with the armies centered (working xml) and I'd want to take it now.

We'd want all that posted with text links though.

I meant adjacent continent in the sense of next to it - obviously it will be difficult holding the bonus with a continent on the other side of an impassable border.

I'm busy with a big project now, so I will be able to finish the XML etc. next week.

Wow, very nice. Very clear map, good fonts, nice twists (landlocked countries, ports). Look forward to playing it.

Two small points:
1. really just semantics: "holding a landlocked country and an adjacent CONTINENT" - I know original Risk terminology for a group of countries is continent, but here a group of districts is really a PROVINCE. Maybe change "continent" to "province", but then you should probably put "Provinces" as a header above the list of provinces and their bonusses. ALternatively, to clarify the issue, you could specify: "holding Lesotho plus Freestate = 6" etc etc, but that could become quite cumbersome

2. the colours for Western Cape and KZN are still quite similar - no problem for South Africans, but maybe for others???

I don't think that will be a problem, as they are on the other side of the map from each other.

I wasn't getting much feedback, except the odd post along the lines of 'looks good' etc. - and I've been slightly busier than usual, so I haven't had time to tinker and push the map.

The comments about continents/provinces seems a good one, so I will look into that.

You may need to change your continents...

Anything that was written <component> is now <territory>

Note you can also use <continent> in your components if your logic needs it!!

The landlocked countries should start neutral.

At last, I can post in the forums again!

Dunno what the problem was, but for a few months now I couldn't view profiles, do private messages or post in the forums.
That PLUS new baby PLUS work has kept me away from this...

Anyway, I'd like to get this going again - Seriously this time.

This was in Final Forge for a while, but has now been moved out. Why? Because I stopped?
I see that
