having played a replay as agreed above i was victorious taking the 3pts in round 9 moving me to 16 pts also the score was 29 - 0 so this will alter the table in group 6 as follows:

before this game I was 4th and jcaste5 was first. There are now 4 of us on 16 pts. with gd as follows:

bagwell +45
vj -33
rebel +63

im sure our tournie organisers can enlighten us on our head to head results

Announcement (at the end of Round 1)

• Round 1. 8 Groups of 6 teams and 1 Group of 5
  - Winner of each Group qualifies to WC 2010 South Africa
  - 8 best Runner-ups qualify to Round 2
• Comparing runner-ups. The results versus the 6th placed teams are taken away, so all have 8 matches for the runners-up table.

I'll be looking it through Group by Group so if you aren't interested in other Groups then just look up yours. BTw, if they don't match with MarVal's tables then trust mine (or re-check) because MarVal was in a hurry when he made the tables and now I took time to re-check them and here should be the correct results.

bonobo's son (Luxembourg) must wait for the runner-ups table.

Group 3

LFAW (Czech Republic) must wait for the runner-ups table.

Group 4

Congratulations to kendoh99 (Wales) for qualifying to final tournament!
merz (Azerbaijan) must wait for the runner-ups table.

Group 5

Congratulations to amazzony (Estonia) for qualifying to final tournament!
herus (Turkey) must wait for the runner-ups table.


With groups where there are more than 2 people with same amount of points, extra table will be made with the games of tied people and that gives the overall places.

Group 8 tiebreakers' table:

2nd and 3rd place depends on the goals For and Against and as rebelman has a better For/Against ratio then he is second.

I'll be working on the runner-ups table today but I can't post the final results anyway because there's 1 game that needs to finish before that (though I'm not sure if it changes much so if I get everything done then I'll post runner-up thingy later today

EDIT. I've added runner-ups table and as you can see, merz is out and rest of you will play a few more games to decide who will get to final tournament.


Line 6 is empty because somewhere there will be the runner-up of Group 6 who we don't know yet. Hrvat has 2 days to join his game. If he hasn't joined by then, then he will lose a game automatically (ironic, because he almost had the win in his pocket with automatic win ).
So, for now, we'll just wait.

I've updated previous post (Group 6* and runner ups table).

*Hrvat lost his game automatically to Clive.

Now we have 9 qualifiers (out of 13). Congratulations!

And all 8 runner-ups. I'll be making games shortly and sending out PMs with final games for this group.

Thanks, guys We've put a lot of effort to this huge tourney (and I mean all the 6 regions and the final that will come) and we're very gladly that overall things seem to go great and that you are enjoying it


Now, Hrvat will be replaced with merz in the runner up games because he seems to have left the site. He is not reading his PMs and doesn't seem to play anymore.

i've played merz in both 2 games luxembourg v croatia but if i see the table i had to play against hrvat, what went wrong?

Hrvat was replaced with merz because Hrvat didn't read his message on time and it seems that he has left the site.

so i played on hrvats map . i lost both 2 games against merz so he goes trough.

Just beat Rebelman on his map (in 2 rounds!), and probably going to win my one due to him missing a turn.

I won both my games. Malta records a victorious win to get into World Cup!!! Something never done in their history before!

If both of you wish to play that one game again on his home map then I'm ready to make a new game. But as it was a "neutral" map for both of you then I see no problem for the games happening on that field.

scottie (Scotland) and spidey (France) need to play 1 tiebreaker game to decide who gets to final tournament. I'm setting it up and sending them messages soon.
