Wow, that's interesting. I wanted to give the Underdogs an advantage, but I didn't want to hand it to them.

What is taking so long currently, is I am figuring out how large each upset was (or wasn't) so that will be interesting.

my last game finished before thanksgiving... any word on when round 2 is starting?

Anyone? Beuller? Is the tourney canceled? I'm not playing any games and I haven't in about a month, I'd like to stop having to keep checking up if this is dead in the water.

HELL YEAH! Its been a long time coming and several hours of work, but I got round 2 match ups built!!!

Notices:

I have converted to paper and pencil. This should mean no more lost information.

This isn't a rule change, but more of a clarification:
In each round, you may only use the same settings once. You must change either: MAP only, or AT LEAST two of the following: Fog, Spoils and Reinforcements. So you must either change your map, or change two of the final three settings. You can, of course, change all the settings each game. This is within each ROUND, after a round ends and you get a new opponent, your settings reset.

Several players have sent me PMs stating they might need to drop. If this is the case, a few players may be getting a bye. (I'm looking at you, dfp2dep) I would try to rebuild the match ups but I need an even number to go through.

where did the settings for round 2 come from, aren't we are meant to change them?

Yeah, its best of five, so the underdog choose the first two, the favorite chooses the third, and, if necessary, the fourth.

If necessary, the fifth and final is decided by each player voting on settings, and we will use a random number generator to decide.

Okay so are you expecting me to send settings to you? Because I wasn't sure--never got a PM regarding settings being needed now.

Your opponent, Gilligan, was confused, so I straightened him out and I see he has settings in my inbox.

I am actually going to finish some work here, and then create the remaining games during my lunch break, and start the timer on deadbeats who have not provided settings.

I'm about to win Game 4167183 - the second one that I've played in round 2. Since I am the "favorite", that means I pick the settings next, right?
