Real Madrid and Milan eliminated. UEFA Champions is over for me.
I wish they'd put Raul before. He would've score no matter how.

welcome back cena and thanks for Adam Johnson.
Sunderland 1
Man City 1Johnson.
a sublime goal by Johnson. we were out played in the 1st half, but battered them in the 2nd with Gordon making some fine saves. 2 behind Spurs with a game in hand. getting close.
Rangers 3 Dundee United 3
Boyd (2 pens), Novo.
threw away a 3-1 lead and now have to go to Tannadice for a replay.

What about Messi huh? Messi + Kun + Tevez in the attack for Argentina, they don't need a tall guy. The only bad thing is that Maradona is the coach.

Yer he is so bad. They really should have replaced him after teh qualifications for the WC, but it makes it easier for everyone else. They really do have a very good team, especially the front 3.
Btw, Kun has to be moving clubs sometime soon, he is too good and has so much potential not to join one of the best clubs in the world. Personally, I hope Arsenal go after him, but I can't see Wenger splashing out the cash.

Barcelona - 4
Other team on the pitch, whoever they were - 0
Impressive result, Lionel Messi arguably the best player in the world scored a brace, and that was without Xavi and only playing at about 75% I'd say. Cracking game.

No, my "avvy" is my high rank. My average rank used to be lieutenant, which is what I'm at now.
Oh how I fondly remember my ass-doodle days.
Is your sig the team you support?
not got very high standards.

Yer, quality game, Barcelona were irresistible last night. Messi's first goal was just superb, obviously the best player in the world atm and we can only hope he lives upto his incredible potential.

Mexico won 2-1 to North Korea, who actually qualified for the world cup, in a friendly match.
North Korea is actually a better team than you can imagine.
An error from the Mexican goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa (who is actually very good, check him up on youtube a
here) risked the victory but a goal by the young-newly-discovered striker "Chicharito" Hernandez gave the victory to Mexico.
Cuauhtemoc Blanco had scored in a free kick; we are all waiting for him to get in good shape for the WC because quality he has in excess (youtube:
here,
here,
and here).
Mexico is looking good inf friendly matches with the new coach Javier Aguirre. This time we have good competition for every position which makes every player to stay on top of his game.
Let's see what happens on the European Tour.

Juve lost there 2nd man in the last minute and had no bearing on the result, and I would have thought even a 10 man Juve would not ship 4 goals against a team like Fulham(no disrespect towards Fulham intended).

I'm liking the CL draw very much! We get Bayern then either Lille or Bordeaux (hopefully!) while Arsenal have the chance to avenge their final defeat to Barca before facing Inter or CSKA.
United/Barca final by any chance? I hope not, much rather face Arsenal
