The majority of people do not like change; its just basic human nature, especially something that a lot of people know and love(and is called classic to boot!). While most of the changes seem pretty superfluous(sorry) and non confrontational, the shading issue(in my humble opinion) does seems to have some merit.

It's a little too bright and slightly distracting for my tastes. That is not to say that I would not get used to it either. It is one of those issues that is not a huge problem or the end of the world.

My two cents is to change the shading back for a few weeks, then put it to the people. 'Classic version 1' vs 'Classic version 2'. Democracy seems to work ok for things like this and its harder to argue with when the votes have been counted.(Zimbabwe accepted) :cry:

As for visiting the foundry in regards to this issue, sorry dude but I don't look around the forums much. I prefer, and I quote: "to take my turn in 5 minutes with my morning cup of coffee or in between classes." :lol: Maybe a sticky on the my games page would grab more attention?

Seriously...it is very hard on the eyes :ugeek:

Personally I have a tough time distinguishing between red and pink...and blue and green.

Like many before me...hate the circles.

i appretiate the effort, but i think it turned out LESS readable then before. or maybe as someone mentioned, it just takes some getting used to. Could you make it optional? Sorry, but i really dont like it, cant find my armies :(

Thanks to everyone who has spent time on recent improvements, but sorry; I am not keen with these new changes. Matching colours is fair enough, but those massive white dots just look crap. If we needed to confirm which colours are where, couldn't we just use the colour codes?!

Well it's clear this hasn't been an easy pill to swallow. The touch-up artist is going to provide us some revisions with low-key army shadows after work today. Just want to pop in and let you all know we're listening to your feedback. I'm sure we will find a solution that lets you dinstinguish blue armies in Europe AND doesn't make you go blind :)
