Loose shoots Max + Max = scum -> turbolynch ragian, me and Dev confirmed (Dev less confirmed than I am by virtue of investigation protection existing)
Loose shoots Max + Max = town -> someone will be confirmed town, alongside Dev.

Town decides Charle dies, this is all with 4 alive. Charle might be scum, but if he's town we autolose if Max is also town

So yeah, bummer. If I had noticed that Kong was likely to get hammered I wouldve changed my night action, of course, but if I didnt submit any in time my "self-confirming" role wouldnt have triggered.

Killing Charle is bad if Dev is protected from investigations or if scum has a redirect.

Killing Charle is decent if the above but a roleblock instead of a redirect, because we still start the day on 5 regardless of Charle's alignment

I personally find it unlikely that town would get 3 kill potential.

Thinking of it now, if there are 2 scum and a 3rd party, I am dead as scum would want to kill me before i can use my ability tomorrow night. Maybe a small chance to live if there are only 2 scum.

the role is called Hooker, it's a roleblocker.

I dont believe Rag's claim much, but game-optimal is likely to kill Max -> Rag. Depends on who Max targeted as well.

If you have kill option available, I wouldnt use it. We lynch someone today, we go to 4 in the night. Scum kills someone, we go to 3. Scum should only be able to kill one of us Loose, so we always have a confirmed townie in the f3. If Rag claims he can self-protect, so should you. Even on a mislynch, I believe if it's just you and the scum alive you kill each other and it's a tie.

My hope is that Max actually targeted someone useful so we can test his claim and you can shoot a guilty verdict.

@Dev, would it be beneficial for you to spill your role-secrets now?

Think it might be but not yet. I expect to see some comments and night info from Rag and Max here otherwise it's a clear vote road for me at this point.

Well, that was easy. It doesn't matter if we lynch Max or me given that Dev, EW, and Loose are town. I'll vote Max today, but I'll let Dev ask his questions first.

If I was Town Oracle I think the correct play on Day 2 would have been to say nothing Day2.
Logic from a town oracle perspective would be I'm still a vote on towns side, and I can use my Oracle powers on who I think is most useful to Night 2.
Whether Night 1 I used my powers on someone who is dead, is likely town or suspected scum, whatever I say will focus discussion on whether to lynch me or not, and lead discussion away from other candidates. Nothing I can say will have much relevance.

Now Day 3 if I was Town Oracle I think I might as well say who I used my powers on Night 2.
Its probably the correct play for me to be lynched at this point - at least let town know who they will find out about when they lynch me.
Then they can fine tune their strategy around me as town being lynched and who my oracle powers will reveal.

N1, I protected EW because I had no specific feeling for who was town, so I protected whoever I believed I would want to get rid of if I were scum.

N2, I protected Loose. Should be self explanatory.

Loose unless you use protection last night and it was used up then what Rag says is true. If you did use protection then he tried to kill you. Otherwise he did protect. Ok short of a 3p in play I think it's time we vote Max at this point unless anyone has anything to add at this point

Didn't EW's trial action prevent night kill?

Also, let's say that Loose did use protection. If, say, Max tried to kill Loose, you'd mistake my protection of Loose for his attempt. So, yeah, if Loose did something other than self protect, you can clear me, but you cannot condemn me 100% (though Occam's razor would suggest that I'm guilty).
