Is this playoff going to consist of more than one game per round, other wise I get knocked out as a #2 seed since before my first turn my opponent has a bonus that I have to go through 11 armies to break? A best of 3 would make more sense for an end of season bracket?

Yep, I totally agree. in NCAA words, it may be home and away game, and extratime if needed.

As stated in the first post of the tournament, it will be 1 game per match up. This is designed to be a football tourney, at no level of american football is there a best of series. It is 1 game and you are out. Sorry for any disappointments, but it was decided at the beginning of the tournament.

Football also doesn't have neutral players or allows one player to play at a time. So the parallel to the game doesn't really make sense.

I will keep that in mind in the future. Not really fair to change the rules this late in the tournament.

Playing for the championship. Converted this to a 64 team bracket like NCAA basketball.
