Here is the Rules:
"KNOCKOUT PHASE
- When there are only only 32 SURVIVORS remaining, points are DISCARDED and............we enter the KO PHASE of the Tourney!
- If we move to the KO phase with less than 32 Players, Points will continue to decide who get's Byes in the following Round.
- Points accumulation will be 1 Point for a 1 Match Victory (3-2, 4-3, etc) and 2 Poins for a larger victory (4-1 or 5-0, 5-2 or 6-1 or 7-0, etc)"
It's not actually 100% Clear but............
If Bye's come into play if we have less than 32, and enter subsequent Rounds with less than the number of Players required, Points are used to determine who get's the Bye and therefor it will be Top Half v Bottom Half for the remainder.
When we do have the proper number of players (32, 16, 8, 4), Points are discarded and it's a Random Draw. This is my take on it, but, let me check!
