The Royal Wedding: Will you be watching?

My wife is English, and she doesn't give a toss.
I'm American and fully disgusted with the amount of press this stupid wedding is getting here in the States.
Also, she's not really a "commoner" - her family is millionaires. Not like Dad is struggling in a coal mine up in Yorkshire, and Kate is used to changing tires at an auto garage. Let the English and their Commonwealth enjoy the day, but us rebellious Yanks shouldn't give a damn.

Her grandfather was a coal miner, does that make you happier? And as previously noted, commoner does not mean she's poor. Although her parents earned every cent of their fortune, they're self-made millionaires. The point is that neither Kate nor her parents grew up surrounded by aristocrats, all this is very new to them.

The wedding was lovely and everyone looked great. I love a good wedding and it was fun to get to gawk at such a high-profile one. Plus, hats!

Why would people watch this? It is like implicitly implyingt hat these people are superior to you, and you lesser than them, and you're getting a glimpse into what life is like for people born into priveledge.

Basically means 'couldn't give a flying f*ck about it' - literally translated a monkeys ejaculation, I think you got that far though. You can get it in Banbury, theres a pub that serves shots of monkey spunk... (No joke though, that's what the shot's called)

Last time I was in Banbury, I'm sure I was served with a pint of the stuff instead of the beer I'd asked for.....

Her parents might not have been in a coal mine but they also are not allowed to sleep over at the palace with everyone else but them. I told you it would stay on the pad, I'm still thinking I should take my kids to see one of the final countdowns.
