Next tournament is up : Peanut's 3X Double-Elimination Singles Tournament. A tournament format that hasn't been seen on CC yet (as far as I know) on a larger scale. Sign up now and spread the word!

My October 8th tournament will probably be posted two or three days late due to starting a new job.

Apologies everyone.

I have rejigged the TPA3 Tournament schedule to "front-load" the Majors and Premier tournaments into the earlier part of the year so that we stand a better chance of concluding all the tournaments within the year.

Hmmm the Majors might be too close together now, and present too high a gameload on people who wish to participate in all 4 majors. I think that was why we used to have 1 in each quarter?

That said, I don't know how many people join TPA tournaments for the sake of winning the TPA, so it might not affect things as much.

You apply for the tournaments in the usual way by entering your name and any other required information into each tournament thread as it is released.

The tournaments are released every Monday, though it may take a few days for the thread to be accessible from the Tournament index. You can always go straight to each tournament via the links on my introduction on page 1 though,

Yes - valid point and a balance between having tournaments that are completed within 3 months of the end of the schedule and too many games at the start of the schedule. Also there are shortish Majors and long Premier tournaments which affect the flow and timescales.

The individual tournaments are so varied and very interesting in their own right, and see if the players keep joining in, which will perhaps be the best test.

Indeed (: Could you at least move apart the 2nd and 3rd Majors though? They're currently set to be 1 week apart, and I think that's really pushing it...

I could possibly organize a tournament. It would be similar to the Elonpuckhog's Battle for the bonuses tourney currently underway. It would be a smaller tourney (16-32 players). Please PM me if you are interested in this type of tourney. January at the earliest.

Magic Trench Doubles Master is now recruiting. It is on Age of Realms 2 (Magic) map and a round robin tournament with as many premium players who will join within the time limit.

The Christmas Quads has been posted.

This is a bit of an anomaly, as normally the official date of a TPA tournament is the date that it's posted. In this case, however, the date (Dec. 24th) is the date that it will launch. It is being posted now so that all teams are signed up before the 24th.

We still need TO's to provide tournaments - two needed for 21-Jan (possible Premier) and 28-Jan (Also possible Premier). By Premier it means that there are between 50 and 100 player eliminations; ie this can be a 1 vs 1 with 50+ players or 13+ teams of 4 etc. If it is a standard (less than 50) type then I can swap dates to suit.

Other dates are also free later in the year.

Just a reminder that this week's tournament, 7 UP II, is recruiting.
Looking for teams of 7, so gather up your friends.

Do you send reminders out to TO's when they have a TPA event coming up?

I hope so, because I'll need the reminder.

Yes, but the wifi is excellent and there is little else to do whilst lying in the sun. All I really need is a screen that is visible in strong sunshine, though it's an excellent excuse for my poor gamesplaying!
