Menhirs and large bricks would be more fitting actually than greek-like temples. The map is about Gallia rather the Romans and the Gauls weren't exactly known for their great architecture. Their buildings were pretty basic: roughly cut stones, wood, mud, hay, ...

The bridge above Aduatuca is off as its not crossing the river.

fixed

my impression of the Roman times was info was contained in scrolls, not stacked in bulky wooden frames. ;)

great idea, I placed a table and put some scrolles on it. The topright corner however is not as easy though. Because of the amount of info there. I tried placing a board with a scroll or piece nailed to it, unfortunately it severely comprimises readability.

I see you get bonuses based on color regions
I see you get bonuses based on initial next to the troop count

But I do not understand why all the names are different colors and some with a backing and others without

oh, I see that all the ones with backing are a part of 3 different types of bonus sets. But the set's themselves are not clearly labeled individually - instead you blocked them all with the same backing even if they are not apart of the same set bonus..

But still do not see why some of the region text is not white...

white names= normal territories
black = capital of that region
leather background = forgot to remove those :P

Battles: You don't have a helmet on Treveri. you will need to write out the region names in the battle legend. get these couple of things done, adn since it looks as if you have everything you need to be considered a working draft I can sticky this, but only once you get these couple of things fixed.

[Moved]

This map has been moved into the Ideas subforum, as it has not had an update within the time period. This can still be worked on and moved back after an update has been made.
