Lol Rugby League is just a variation of Rugby. Aussie Rules is sort of like Gaelic Football.

Yer, that Aussie rules. Loved watching that when I was on holiday there, shame they dont show it on tv here...
European football?

Its a bit more then European.
Btw, there is a huge bias towards North American sports. Baseball, American football, basketball and ice hockey (if thats what you mean by hockey). All four of these sports are predominantly played by USA and Canada alone. Very few other countries consider these as major sports.
Wheres rugby and cricket for a start, which are played competitively by at least 15 countries.
O, and real football rules all, not the pussy shit americans play!

Hockey is NOT played only in the USA and Canada. Try telling that to Russia, Sweden, Finland, Czech Republic, or Slovakia. All have many players in the NHL, and fine national teams. In fact, in the 2006 Torino Olympics, Sweden took gold, Finland silver, Czech bronze, and Russia was fourth. Many other European nations have growing hockey programs, including Germany, Austria, Belarus, and Latvia.
And for the record, hockey isn't really considered a major sport by most Americans. Although it's my favorite sport.

I seriously LOL'd when I read this. Someone trying to defend "futbol" by saying "football" is for pussies. Whew, I almost cried laughing...

QFT!
But I left to for a bigger football fan than I to take. As I'm all about hockey (in spite of my current AWESOME Michigan avatar) (which come to think of it works for hockey too).

umm yes it fucking is, why don't you try playing 36 holes in one day?
sure its arguable that things like poker and blackjack are sports, but anything that requires coordination, skill, and vast experience is a sport

no I'm not going to flame it, I understand a decent amount of strategy involved in it, IMO tennis involves way more strategy but of course that's just IMO
but golf is a sport... do not disobey the almighty WikiP

Any sport that anyone plays thinks it has more strategy than other sports, so I understand.

well do you play tennis? I play soccer recreationally and I've watched a decent amount of the professionals, having my grandpa sitting besides teaching me a bunch of technique/strategy...

I played tennis in pe a few years ago, i dont really know the strategies though, and I'm not very good at it

well then I think I can say that I know soccer at least a little better than you know tennis, if you don't mind
thus I still think there's more strategy in tennis, especially since there are two completely different ways of playing
