Long awaited update ... standings updated through August finals.

standings table updated through early September finals...heading into the final month of the regular season with some tight playoff races.

I'll be updating the more recent matches in the morning.

A tight race for the Supporter's Shield is shaping up heading into the final few weeks between Orlando City and the LA Galaxy with a couple other West teams also in the chase.

Standings updated through the Sept. 27 finals...I will be working on October scoreboards tomorrow.

Hey all...some of you are already aware, but I'm heading into my last week of sign-ups for the 2015-16 College Basketball season (my favorite tourney of the year). If you are interested in taking part, here's a thread to that tourney.

Knockout stage = single game showdown
Conference semis — 2 leg format
Conference final — 2 leg format
MLS Cup — single game showdown

All of the semifinal matches are now sent out...I'm out of town for Thanksgiving week, so we'll update scores and resume Leg 2s in the East when I return

Couldn't get much closer between the LA Galaxy and Sporting KC, but it was KC escaping 3-2 in a shootout to advance to the Western Final...a couple nail biters heading into Leg 2 in the East semis as well.

Whats the rules on away goals in playoffs?
Do they count the same as goals scored at home?

Loved seeing my Timbers make their run this season, but really soccer, let's put together some sensible rules.

So if I won the home leg 1-0 and lose the away leg 2-3.
What happens now?

We go to a best of 5 shootout

Ok, well our playoff game is finished. I believe the score is tied 3-3 over 2 legs now

The East Final is nearing a close with the Red Bulls holding a slight edge. We should have our MLS Cup matchup soon.

Congrats to our 2015 MLS Cup champ overlander and his Vancouver Whitecaps, who pulled off a tight 2-1 championship victory over Super Wang and the New York Red Bulls. Vancouver won 6 of the 10 title match maps to claim the slim win.
