Highly recommend the true story book, The Nuclear Boyscout
Mom, Dad.....can you give me 10 grand so I can create a small minute black hole in the guest bedroom? Don't worry Dad, I will make sure the black hole won't grow and swallow up the house, neighborhood and Earth.
8, probably a 9.6 on the Bern scale.

That is definately a solid observation by Bern. Red meant fission.

Actually I can guarantee it. First of all you can't have a black hole below the Planck mass (about 2.2×10−8 kg or 22 micrograms) and anything somewhat above would be too busy with Hawking radiation getting smaller and smaller. The gravity of the thing wouldn't be a factor and the only mass gain would be those atoms unlucky enough to run into it (while it is loosing particles due to the radiation). That's ignoring the fact that you can't fit the equipment into your guest bedroom (your parents would be pissed if you remove the bed) and you're going get a severe beating when the power bill comes in.

I can't tell if this is sexual innuendo or physics.

It's weird science. (Which by definition is both.)
P.S. You don't want to wind up with an ICBM in your guest room. It makes a mess of the ceiling and the roof.
