by the way twill, if you do end up hiring somebody, drop me a line, cause i'd like to get them to teach me some stuff.
Believe me, when we hire someone, we're going to be taking as much of their time as we can...if they have time to teach you, we obviously aren't pushing them hard enough![]()

You can do multiple sex tricks at 13?
This is sadly a technical position so being horrible with technology is generally not a good thing to put on a resume
If you know any friends, do ask them as well.
Twill
lol, 13 is a little young

So much for a professional job annoucement...this went off track and fast.
Lets drop the subject of anything but working at CC in a coding capacity can we?
Applications close tomorrow morning, so last chance to get in.
I have to say, I'm excited for CC looking at the people we have applying so far

Twill.. You should send out a mass PM this evening so everyone on the site is aware. I think you're probably missing some good candidates that missed the announcement on the main page, and this thread. I know you probably think mass PM's are annoying, but in this case, I think it's for the good of the entire site.

Twill wrote:How to apply:
- Send a resume of relevant experience and examples of any previous work to Twill {at} ConquerClub.com
- Qualified applicants will then be asked to create functioning mock-ups of solutions to a small number of design challenges we face. These will be short challenges and applicants will be paid a small set fee for completing them (we know your time is valuable, even for an interview)
- The mock-ups will be peer-reviewed and changes requested and expected.
- The person with the most elegant solutions and code will be offered the job.
Will/could "peer-reviewed" and consideration of what are "the most elegant solutions" extend to members of the community?
Simply in terms of contributing feedback on these points to support the in-house CC team in making the actual decisions?
Personally I'm not technically competent enough to comment on the code-level elegance, but would love the opportunity to comment on the UI/solution elegance.
<Thinking aloud not necessarily actively promoting myself.>

an announement at the top of the my games page also works wonders (remember the contest)
Don't now why people on here don't like being cooks, remember under siege: A former SEAL, now cook, is the only person who can stop a gang of terrorists when they sieze control of a US Navy battleship.
Applications are closed,
We are interviewing seven very capable coders and designers.
Cicero - we have a group of community members who will be helping us in the design review department already. We like to engage the community whenever and wherever possible because after all, this site doesn't exist for our pleasure
We didn't want to use a mass PM or announcement - we're not really for clutter on the site
If you weren't paying attention to the home page news announcements, then you probably aren't paying attention enough :-p
Thanks everyone for your interest and applications.
We should have an announcement about a new coder within two weeks. <knock on wood>
