<Shameless necro-bump combined with:>
I agree that sort of thing is definitely not suited for the game. Points should not be multiplied further than they are currently

I didn't intend to bump here, anyway, I was looking over the thread again. I was thinking about any potential flaws with the game and the main issue is that of multi-abuse and secret alliances. However I think unlike with Assassin games the affect of a single multi does not change the game entirely.
The other possible percieved negative is that people may not protect you like in assassin games if you are the last. Though the definite positive is your elimination won't end the game.

A game type which is a mix of Assassin and Terminator: Assassinator!
Specifics:
The game is played like assassin, everyone gets a target. But the game does not end in the first elimination. When a player gets eliminated, whoever had him as a target gets his points. But then, the game goes on and acts the same way as when someone deadbeats in assassin, the one who had him as target gets the target of his target as a new target.
This way, if you want all the points from the game, you need to eliminate everyone in a specific order. It brings a bit more challenge, and IMO would be fun.

Another game type, which would be really fun IMO.
More fun!
[*]Assassin games are fun, but they can be short, since they end in the first kill. This will extend the fun, with longer assassination games.
Wow nice idea, the only thing im not sure is about the name....maybe it would be better calling it sniper, because if you want to kill everyone you should follow an order, more or less a sniper who has multi-target has to follow an order to make it as fast as posible...or another name
one question.what happens if you eliminate the wrong target?? theyll go to the player who had to kill him??? That part i dont like it much...

If the points didnt go to the pleyer who had to kill him, then the game would be exactly like terminator...
How about this. You kill the wrong target, you lose points, they gain it, and whoever you "eliminated" takes all your regions, and now YOU'RE eliminated. Making a wrong move will bring consequences to you

No thanks... that could be too easily abused by multies, secret diplo guys and whatnot.
And yes, if you kill someone else's target the one who had him as target gets the points. Just like in Assassin. However your target wouldn't change by it (since your target wasn't killed), and in an escalating game it could be worth it to kill someone else's target if it's the only way to get enough cards to kill your own target... Sacrifice the points of one target to sweep the board clean of the others.

IMO it would be way better if when you killed someone who wasn't your target, it acted as if the person who had them killed them...so they get the points and spoils. This would allow for people to have more than 5 spoils which i don't know if its possible at this time with the game engine, but think of how that would change the strategy. Also i would like there to be some discouraging factor from people killing someone who is not their target so the fact that you have no benefit of killing a person who is not your target would be a good thing IMO. There may be a time when you need to kill someone to get to killing your target but that is the only time i would like to see killing someone who you don't have be beneficial to you, as that would make it just like 8 player standard/terminator escalating where you would just hope to get lucky by being able to kill the targets in order but other than that if you just win the game you still get positive points so go for that. Also it would reduce the skill required to play the game because you can win points based on someone else killing your target for cards.

But think about it, both Assassin and Term games are perfect targets for Multi's and Secret Diplo's.

We cant choose not to do things for this site with the decision always based around the cheaters..
The game would start like any assassin game however when you eliminate your target the game doesnt end you just get the points and are assigned another target. If you eliminate a player that isnt your target the person who target that players was gets the points. This differs from normal terminator games as you cant eliminate anyone you have to go for your target.
