I bet I'm like an itch you can't scratch Loose in your mind, or are you just throwing that out there to muddy the waters as you are a bad un?
Re: D2 of The Reid technique Mafia Game
I thought he went to Sicily? Had family there...maybe I'm getting confused in my old age.
By the way I thought the spotlight was on Dev for the moment?

But will you please not refer to my mind.
I think Lecter is out there and I can't get rid of the image of Ray Liotta.
Then I think of Strike - ahhh poor Strike.
Does thinking of Strike not Kong make me a baddun?
Way I figure it;
Kong = wrong kind of Primate
Strike = right kind of Primate
- for Chianti Devante?

My turn to try my arm at poetry;
There was a guy called Devante
A Connoisseur of Chianti
When Strike Wolf dropped by
His saliva did fly
and said
Just the dish for my Ristorante.

Its the other way round Halrob.
The clip Sonic posted made me associate the Long Way to Tipperary (Sonic to Devante) - Sweetest Girl I Know - Clarice Starling
I'd previously posted a shoddy attempt at a Limerick - which isn't such a Long Way from Tipperary.
Does that make you think I'm Hannibal, Clarice, or just plain simple Mafia or Town?

He made his way from Levante
He said hang me high
I will give you pie
But you will never know who will die tonight eh?

Thank you. Helpful EW = helpful EW, generally not alignment indicative. Forgetful EW is probably more likely town, as I'd write down claims as scum in scumchat.Ragian wrote:Could we stop thinking that EW is superhuman? He's a brilliant mafia player, yes, but he's human. Forgetting things happens. I know I do it all the time.
But for both, I'm not a perfect mafia player regardless of alignment! And even if, it might be easier to catch scum EW by seeing how other scum move around me

Re: D2 of The Reid technique Mafia Game
I don't see how you get there, hjelp. Walk me through this...
EW claims that Charle didn't make the kill. I.e. EW was monitoring Charle. That doesn't make Charle town, but he's not the poisoner, and he's not the shooting scumbag.

Re: D2 of The Reid technique Mafia Game
Maybe hjelp but I want to air something else as well.
EW said "it might be easier to catch a scum EW by seeing how other scum move around me"
He also said Charle didn't kill last night.
A mafia EW would know whether Charle killed or not last night.
If we have a town EW we could either have a playing it straight up town EW or a Funky Town EW (like last game).
A Straight Up Town EW by disclosing something of what he believes to be true of Charle reduces the probability of Charle being Mafia by 33% and so might and I think would do that for fear of being killed N2 and so taking that 33% with him to the grave.
A Funky Town EW would have dangled something not true to see what happens. A Funky Town EW doesn't I don't think have to disclose he is being Funky until D3 IF we lynch Devante D2. If a Funky Town EW dies tonight, then we can see what his role was and if he was Town that can't have known Charle didn't kill N1 we can discount the 33%.What I'm not sure about is whether a Funky Town EW has to disclose he is Funky Town at all because as long as he is alive he knows, and when he dies we should all be able to work out he's been Funky.
If we put Straight Up Town EW and Funky Town EW as 50/50 then I guess the probability that Charle is mafia is reduced by 16%
Re EW I figure I don't have to decide Mafia or Town and which type because I think Devante is going to be lynched, and even if he isn't I'm not sure there is an imperative that town should lynch D2 unless there is strong evidence somewhere yet to be disclosed. And I've got this thing that D1 and D2 evidence put together should give a reasonable basis to lynch Mafia D3 (including a possible Mafia EW)
Not very happy with a possibility of a Funky Town Ew and the "might be easier" EW comment.
Don't want to let a possible Mafia EW escape attention going forwards if I die.
Not very happy with myself either - its making my brain explode - again - but if I think something that's bugging me I have a tendency to say it.
(won't be anything much left to eat here Devante - just saying)

Cosigning what Rag said, I dont know how you get to those conclusions. I dont even think kongming's tracking is linked to the framing, even if I do read into flavour messages. He tracked his own shadow is how I read it.hjelp wrote:So, someone visited you last night.Charle wrote:

And I visited Charle, yes. If I am supposed to believe that everybody has some form of power, I was able to tell that Charle did not execute a killing action last night. It's not much, but it's something.
Spoiler
the "everybody has some form of power" is important because it makes me less likely to be killed overnight for revealing I do have some power

Re: D2 of The Reid technique Mafia Game
Rereading the end of D1, I kind of get the feeling that hjelp's vote on Strike was for show and easily retracted when Strike appeared. If scum have day chat, this is definitely what Strike would've instructed. But not both partners, I'd think. The other voter is halrob.
Right now, I believe EW and Loose to be town.
Hjelp, halrob, and darin all have me raising an eyebrow for different reasons.
I can't tell with Devante until he tells us something.
Charle kind of trips my scumdar, but then EW says he didn't kill last night, which makes it less likely that he's scum (but not impossible).
Devon has to come into the game before I form an opinion.
