Can I suggest the last games )the 1vs1) are a best out of 3...I'd hate to get all that way, and then end up with a lousy start in 1 map dropping you out.

We all know what random troops sometimes give a huge advantage to one side (like one take and you're in the bonus, and the other side has nothing close)

Also, please make the last maps big maps..

the idea was that it simulates one assassinator game (link to thread in first post). This is obviously unrealistic, as there is a good chance that one player would have a majority of the regions and/or troops, but it's still the idea. Also, a better reason is that this tourney was made to accomodate freemies, and they were told they only needed 1 slot open. So no, I am keeping it at one game.

No, they will all be random. Of course it is stupid to play 1v1 on doodle or lux unless you want a game almost all about luck (assuming it's seq), but I also think it's stupid to play a 1v1 on Hive, unless you want a game to last a month. I said that it will be random maps, and it will remain random maps.

I would like to remind you that I started this tourney and you joined it without questioning the rules. You obviously were able to discern what the rules are, since you just questioned two of the major ones. I am perfectly happy to listen to a player asking for a rule change for legitimate reasons like "I want to play more games at once in fewer sets because I don't want the tourney to run into summer break" or "can we make the (8 player 2.1) games esc. so they end", not that I would ever do 8 man 2.1 anything other than esc. in a tourney, but you get the idea. A great example of a non-legitimate reason is "it says random map but I don't want random map just because I personally like to play large maps for 1v1", there are plenty of people who like doodle or lux (ex: doodle-[player]iamkoolerthanu[/player], lux-[player]lurkerleader[/player])

edit- btw, both lurk and kooler normally have a much higher ranking than you. Kooler is a little down right now but he is still sergeant first class, higher than you. These are not complete n00bs/horrible players that I'm talking about that like small map 1v1's
