If you were to give them more specific names (such as ____ golf course or whatever) that wouldn't be a problem, but they really look better as uniform style like they are now. Previously they looked a little bit like clipart stuck on a map. Tourist maps still have the names of attractions on them, but they tend to use uniform images of the style currently in your map.

btw mission beach is where your mission bay territory is, not on point loma. maybe call your current mission beach piont loma, and cut mission bay into 2 parts making the west part pacific or mission beach and the east half will be mission bay

I don't like the boldness of the 88s, some of them particularly in green and blue are sore on the eyes.

good point. What is the font used for the CC numbers? Or will the XML put these numbers on the map when I remove these numbers? I threw those numbers on for show.

Graphics need work like thin out the borders, the lake bevels could be smoothed also.
