Dear TOs,

We (T13) have previously with your agreement changed our home map to Northwest Passage with the settings fog, no spoils, trench, parachute. Since then we've usually first got an invite for Ardennes, declined and communicated, then NWP. I assume the above is a 'source of truth' and the cause for this: it didn't document the map change that was communicated.

I don't mind declining invites, but I gather it's also a hassle for the TOs all the time. Perhaps including the new map in this source of truth will prevent this in the future?

Thank you for your work,

Major apologies. I know this is getting embarrassing for all concerned.

We've had a bit of a hiatus over the summer. We are now ready to resume. Winter is coming.

We also had a second resignation. T13 is gone.

One of the benefits of our hiatus is that all active games have now ended and I was able to completely score the tourney thus far. Check out these standings:

Standings:
https://challonge.com/3bbybd1z/standings

Groovy's team is just booming ahead. They've lost a couple games, but they have yet to lose a match! Will someone catch them?

4U2's team is in 2nd place, and the Frenchmen are in 3rd. My team just baaaarely squeaks into 4th place -- we have the same number of points as 5th place grt's team, but we're ahead by 1 match.

I'm off on vacation. When I come back, around October 5th, I'll be sending out next round.

Team 7 (DrJusticles, bsleavitt, leeroy jenkins) has missed numerous invites and is probably eliminated. I might give them one last chance when I get back. I'll decide that at the time.

Thanks. Happyfeet is no longer a premium player, that might be the reason for missing the first invites?

Game 21275379 was created in error. I had a minor brain fart and made it Europe 1914 instead of Transsib 1914.

New game is Game 21276885. Invites sent.

remo18 wrote:Hello Dukasaur,

My teammate in the Struggles in the Snow tournament - 11mi15 - will no longer be playing with our team due to lack of availability.

I understand there is a 5-point penalty in the standings for replacing a team member.

Going forward, please invite jdmcinty as the third member of our team.

I copied 11mi15 and General Marshall on this message so that you are certain that we have all discussed and agreed to this change.

Let me know if any other information is needed.

Sincerely,
remo18
