So, I'll fill his spot I guess as a temp, when this set of games finish, we'll go ahead and start the tournament, but I'll also make an additional play in round to cover his spot, that means the winner of that round will miss a game, but that will be a miniscule setback only

Make up game created, actorday messed up again

ok, we've lost several players, including one for this last round. in an effort to kick things off rather than have a play-in game for the last spot, i've elected a process to find a suitable replacement.

#1 a player that has yet to be assasinated
#2 was going to be highest remaining troop count for finished games.

however, paulycash was the only player left that has not made an elimination, but was also yet to be eliminated. so i gave him the bump.

next round will be 4 groups of 5 to play until a single player from each group gets eliiminated twice. that person will take the bench and be used as a reserve (if they want) in case we have another dropout. once this process ends, we will then be in the meat of the tournament. all of the games from hereon out, will be scored as full points. and i will send out 2 games to start, then a single until we get the elims.

edit; i will also use the above process (#! and #2) to find a fill in if someone fails to join the next round of invites.

So, a detail I failed to consider just happened. Since it's phase 2, and when a player eliminated the wrong target. Best way I think is since he is the one that forced the game to end, the player that assasinated the wrong target will get the "assassinated" designation. As well as the -100 points. Everyone else just gets points for survival. There won't be a need for a makeup game.

This will not affect round 3 since there's no consequence from being eliminated other than a point penalty.

i was able to send the next round even tho there are two games active, but it's because the 2 games active are safe games. meaning there has already been a cut. and this helps move things along.

there's still 2 games active, but i updated the scoreboard in case anyone is curious. we've yet to hit the meat of the tournament, but were close.

i updated the scores. we still have a phase 2 game waiting for a resolution. 4 of the 5 has 1 loss, so odds are this game should be the last, of course theres still a chance we'll have to play one more.

ok, we are now finally in the middle of the tournament. i think how i'll do the weeks is, i'll wait till 50% of the games are complete before i start the next week. we'll see how that goes. i don't want to burn anyone out if these games start to drag.

i have jim and paulycash marked as a reserve, as they were the last two out.

i also created the first 4 games as a standard. so i had to delete them, just in case anyone is confused by any emails the game system may have sent involving invites.
