That's Randy Quaid on the left in the first shot. It was Madeline Kahn's first feature film.

Good point, I was going by the box on the stone wall in the last pic. Now that I think about it, I don't think God even set it on the wall in that film.

Read it and enjoyed it- Apt Pupil is a good movie from the same book too. Still haven't seen Stand by Me though.
