Where in the World is King Sam? [Winner BeckytheBlondie]

Post by jpcloet »

After a great New Year's eve Party, King and his buddies are playing some football in the streets when one of his friends tells him to "Go Long". In true Texas fashion, bigger is better and King really goes out for a long pass. King Sam needs your help to get home, can you find where he currently is at?

You need to determine King's location, and you may use 20 yes or no questions to narrow down his exact location. The winner will provide the street address where he is.

In order to encourage participation (and perhaps conserve precious questions), every question must be seconded before it will be answered. As long as questions are seconded, they can all be asked by the same person, or any number of people.

Your biggest clue is a snapshot of his current location from his cell phone. (aka Google Maps Street View.)

Good luck, and happy hunting!

http://maps.google.com/help/maps/street ... -view.html

This could help, I presume he had to go on foot and hence must still be in the Americas. I propose asking if he is in the United States to confirm that he is indeed in the US. Else he might be in mexico, or some other place that has palms.

Is he in the United States?

King Sam is NOT in the USA

While this is generally a game of logic, the fact that KS got this lost by going out for a pass is quite illogical...

No, enough with this type of question that leads nowhere.

We've eliminated US, and this every warm area region that is on google street view in the eastern hemisphere, except a small bit of Europe. Except 3 spots in Mexico...

Is lack in the northern hemisphere?

2nded

..as far as I can tell the only possible places are:

Mexican mainland (six metropolitan areas + playa del carmen)
Cozumel island

Spanish mainland
Tenerife island
Gran Canaria island (this would be my guess but I´m not sure at all)
Majorca island

Is he on the spanish mainland?

EDIT: I think this is most likely since its meant to be a harder one and an island would be quite easy.

This was never seconded...

Well running two of these concurrently seems to have stalled them both.

Is King Sam south of Madrid? (40.416349,-3.700297)
